The Sixth Amendment

"In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defence."

I believe that speedy trial would protect those that are innocent as well. This should lead to less inconveniences and also less time for the prosecuting side to tamper with any sort of evidence or information. The public trial protects from secrecy and outlandish accusations. It also protects from shady business like a biased jury or not being able to know what you are accused for and who is testifying against you.

I chose this video/speech to emphasize the side of being a witness possibly in a dangerous situation or on the side of truth even if it is hard.

I chose this video to explain a little bit about a speedy trial.
