Amendment XXVI

"The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.
Section 2
The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation."

This establishes the legal voting age at 18.



This is an ad urging youth to go out and vote.




What happens if you do not make an informed vote? I think it's not just the right to vote but to vote after researching the candidates... not to be swayed just by the media or any type of influence.





If 18 year old people can be drafted, then they should be able to vote.
