Amendment XIII
"Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction...Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation."
This abolishes slavery!
This video tries to depict slavery into the alphabet and using a poem. I think that slavery is over in the United States. It can be argued that there are still problems with racism, like stereotypes, etc but that can happen to any race right now or even different cultures or differences within a race, not just with blacks.
This is probably the only slavery that goes on right now and it is not partial to any race. Debt! Debt can enslave you in so many ways and this is very prominent in our culture.
